Since Apple launched its first iPhone in 2007, the company has earned hundreds of billions of dollars from the global market. However, the poor working condition of its front-line workers has barely changed. Corrupted trade union election, flexibilization of labour, poor wage, military management, numerous workers’ suicides and other disgusting labour abuses have never stopped in the history of iPhone production.
In 2017, Students and Scholars Against Corporate Misbehaviour (SACOM) launches the "iSlave at 10” campaign. We disclose workers interview documentaries, animations, and reports to reveal the reality of workers' life under Apple's profit-maximizing policy in these 10 years. The three-major demands of the campaign are:
Stop Flexibilization
Trade Union Right
Double the Wage
